Almost all estate cars are slow, heavy and not powerful machines, but this one is radically different. First introduced in September 1996, this was a real performer among all wagns of its time. Today a used Nissan Stagea is still easily available and very popular due to its enormous power and great handling. A used Nissan Stagea is equipped with a 2,5 litre six cylinder inline turbocharged engine that produces 280 horsepower and is able to accelerate the car from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5,8 seconds. Maximum speed is electronically limited to 150 mph (241 km/h) and the weight of a car (3640 lbs = 1650 kg) is not a problem at all when comes to accelerating. A used Nissan Stagea is a four wheel drive machine that utilises a unique ATTESSA system, which basically varies the torque split between front and rear axles to ensure maximum grip and traction to all wheels in every conditions. Gearbox is available either as a five speed manual one or a four speed automatic with an optin of a manual override. To guarantee maximum braking power a used Nissan Stagea is equipped with Brembo disc brakes and ABS anti lock system, while the suspension consists of a multi link setup both at the front and the rear.
